 "To rid ourselves of our shadows - who we are - we must step into either total light or total darkness" Long ago the darkness came, a curse for the foolishness of magic. Every race was granted unique powers so they may work in harmony with each other. But the greed of some corrupted the world. The powers were abused and the Gods of old were angered. No race was spared when the plague came.
It took all but the least gifted. Men, Women, children, it took them all. Those it left behind were plunged into darkness. None were deemed worthy to bask in the suns gaze so it was stripped from the sky. Ever since the great plague the races have endured forgetting the lessons of the past…
None who live today remember... none know the truth of the curse. And with each generation the power grows within all races. A silent threat that is ignored... These are the night chronicles.
